Recreational fishing is a prime sport of many residents, and it is frequently replenished with a variety of different fish, including catfish, white crappie, sunfish, spotted bass and largemouth bass. What's Inside Luxury Waterfront Real Estate on McQueeney

Much of the homes found on this reservoir are historic properties. The lake was developed in the 1920s and the residential communities around it have developed over the years. Much of the residences are luxury, custom homes with a few older specimens and lots of large estates. Treasure Island is a residential development area in an island on Lake McQueeney. Inside of these gorgeous homes you'll find granite counter tops, exquisite entryways, vaulted ceilings, marble showers, large backyards, open floor plans, island kitchens and spa bathtubs, as well as extra living areas like game rooms and lofts. You can view pictures of these waterfront properties by looking online.

Why People Love Living on the Lake

This area is an incredible place to grow up. There is a ton of fishing, boating, swimming and natural campgrounds to find around the lake. Vegetation in this area includes spatterdock, rushes, water hyacinths, water lettuce and American lotus. Lake McQueeney schools and neighborhoods provide a better quality of life for residents with much of the communities artfully designed.
