Opened in 2009, the sprawling, state-of-the art campus is one of the most expensive in the state. Built along the lovely southwest corner of Trophy Club’s Lake Grapevine, Byron Nelson boasts numerous “green” features, from recycled building materials to water conserving landscaping.

Academics are top-rate at Byron Nelson High School, and all students receive a netbook for use with school-related assignments. A Texas Education Association Recognized campus, Byron Nelson offers bilingual, advanced placement and gifted and talented programs. Boasting two of the four career academies offered by Northwest ISD, Byron Nelson is home to the award winning Academy of Culinary Arts and Hospitality and the Academy of Medical Professions. These optional study programs give students at Bryon Nelson a jump-start on careers in these growing industries.
