Louis D. Brandeis High School takes it name from the U.S. Supreme Court Justice who fought for the common man and is known for his lifetime dedication to serving the public. With a belief that education was more than just a classroom event, inspiration has been taken by his commitment to the social conscience of his country. The school named in honor of Louis D. Brandeis is rated highly by GreatSchools with an 8 out of 10 rating. Social Studies and English Language Arts ranked the best in test scores, although Math and Science ranked well above the Texas average. As a mascot, the school team is the Broncos; swimming, diving and team competition is one of the popular sports here.
