Willie Brown Elementary School Offers
Kids who attend Willie E. Brown Elementary School have a lot of opportunities provided for them. These programs will teach them how to work as a team, how to do more than one activity at once, and how to foster a healthy love of competition. Children can participate in the Chess Club, the Battle of the Books team, the Jump Rope Team, and they can become peer mediators. This is all a great opportunity for these kids to learn and to adapt a lifestyle works around their academics and their extracurricular activities. There is also a student/teacher mentor program that is designed for kids who want to take part in learning more about education and receive help from their favorite teachers.
School Academics and Parental Involvement
The Willie E. Brown Parent/Teacher Association is one of the best in the Mansfield ISD. The faculty at the elementary school is always encouraging parents to join the PTA to help improve the school and become more involved in their kids' lifestyles. Kids who see their parents involved will perform better at school. They will have better grades because of their parents' influence.
