They offer kids the chance to join a number of different programs so that they get used to being as busy as possible before they move onto middle and high school. Each of the extracurricular programs at Donna Shepard Intermediate School is designed to help kids learn the value of teamwork and the value of healthy competition. Additionally, they are designed to help kids keep a good balance between maintaining their academics and enjoying activities outside of school. Kids at Donna Shepard Elementary can join the chess club, the whiz kids club, crimestoppers, the spelling club, and the geography club. There are a number of other clubs children can join as well.
Kids at Donna Shepard Intermediate School are expected to learn as much as possible and maintain their grades.
