Keller Independent School District
In addition to the traditional kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third grade and fourth grade classrooms, Lone Star also has programs that benefit students who need extra assistance. For example, the school has programs geared toward students with dyslexia, students with special needs, ESL students and students who need speech services. Lone Star also has a gifted and talented program for the academically advanced students. In addition to focusing on the academic well-being of every student, the Keller Independent School district also seeks to provide nutritious and healthy foods during meal times. Items that appear on the menu include chicken spaghetti, turkey and cheese wraps, chicken Caesar salads and fish patty sandwiches. Children also have a selection of fruits and vegetables from which to choose each day.
Keller is a community that is thriving. It has plenty of community and family friendly activities, and its schools are no exceptions to the rule. Buying one of the homes for sale in Keller could very well be the right choice for you family. After graduating from Lone Star, your child will go on to one of the intermediate, middle and high schools in the area to ensure that proper academics continue throughout his or her schooling career.
