Keller Independent School District
The quality of education offered at Keller's schools was a key reason given for the area's extremely high ranking in the Money Magazine feature. Keller ISD is a TEA Recognized District.Â
Central High School
The success of the Keller Independent School District in general is further evidenced at Central High School. In 2010, Central made Newsweek's list of the Top High Schools in the country. This achievement is all the more notable given the fact that Central first opened in 2003 with just freshman and sophomore classes. It became the third high school in the Keller ISD. Today, teams compete as the Central Chargers with a lightning bolt symbol. Given a student enrollment of just over 3,000, Keller is a 5-A school athletically. Soccer and basketball teams have enjoyed notable success.
The GreatSchools rating system gives Central High School a rating of 9 out of 10, one of very few schools to achieve such a high ranking. Those looking at homes for sale may consider Central an asset if they have high school age children.  Â
