Gunstream Elementary School Offers
Programs at Gunstream Elementary School are designed to help both children and their parents at school. Programs such as the Watch DOG program are designed to help children’s families get involved in their education. Parents who are involved in their children’s education are more likely to ensure their children are behaving and enjoy school more than others. This program is for dads and grandfathers. It encourages them to get to the school and volunteer their time helping out around campus, in the classrooms, and with pick-up and drop-off. The parent/teacher association is the PTA at Gunstream Elementary School. Moms and dads are encouraged to join the PTA at the beginning of the school year so that they can keep up-to-date with everything going on at the school and help to improve it as much as possible.
Academics are very important to the teachers and staff at Gunstream Elementary School. For this reason, teachers work closely with their students to ensure that they have a grasp of everything that happens in the classroom. Teachers and staff make it their mission to ensure that the learning environment at Gunstream Elementary School is fun, informative, and interactive so that children are more likely to learn. If kids have fun at school, they will perform better. Loving school from the start will help kids keep that feeling as they grow up.
