Cobb Middle School Offers
The Cobb Middle School academic program is one of the best in the district. Teachers and staff hold students to a very high standard, which requires that they work hard to be the best of the best. Each of the required core classes to prepare children for high school is taught at Cobb Middle School. In addition, elective classes designed to help children foster an interest in other subjects are also available. In these elective courses, students will learn about subjects that are not directly related to the core classes taught at Cobb Middle School. Students who want to participate in clubs and sports teams are required to maintain a specific grade point average to be eligible to play or participate.
Sports and Clubs
At Cobb Middle School, children have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities. These include orchestra, band, cheerleading, the National Junior Honors Society, theater, the art club, drama club, crochet club, student council, the writing club, and the math and science team. Each club or team is designed for children who want to participate in their favorite activities. Sports such as track and field and soccer help children learn to work as a team and foster relationships that will last a lifetime. Mutual interests help children to get to know one another and to befriend those who have similar interests to their own.
