Red Oak is a great place for arts and culture, offering the Texas Historic Preservation Office, several national historic landmarks, and publication that spreads the history of the area to those unfamiliar.
What most brings a great bit of attention to Red Oak is the filing of “True Stories” shot in the area, which was a film created by David Byrne released during ’86. The homes of the area can be quite diverse from each other, offering choices for everyone, with a low cost of living that allows homes to be purchased for under $100,000 – but that doesn’t mean the city is void of homes ranging well above that cost of which there are several.
