This is a signature golf course done by this legendary golfing PGA tour veteran. Bridlewood Golf Club features an 18-hole regulation course that is excellently maintained. The course measures about 7,000 yards from the championship tees.
Golfers find the 25 acres of lakes at the course to be very tempting. The meandering timber creek and the splendid lakes accentuate the beautiful terrain that gently rolls through the hills. At the back nine water is evident throughout. The variety and balance of holes at the course all players to enjoy a well rounded game of golf. There is no other golf course in the entire Metroplex that is similar to Bridlewood. Fairways at the course surround each green. Players find that on each hole a new strategy is required. The basic goal of creating an outstanding facility in this locale without interfering with nature was achieved.
Trees abound. There are 419 Bermuda grass fairways and the greens feature Cato Crenshaw Bent grass. Well positioned bunkers offer alternatives to tee. The open guest policy that is used at the club allows virtually anybody who is interested in golfing to access the facility. Bridlewood is one among the few golfing facilities that offer all year round golfing in Texas. A well designed restaurant is at hand to serve golfers with refreshments. The restaurant is also open to the public. Special junior programs are provided to help in training juniors how to play golf.
