Frisco is often described as an affluent city in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. It is located roughly 25 miles from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field. The centerpiece, of sorts, is the new City Hall building, public library complex and an open common area popular with residents and visitors. Fresco Square also features a multi-screen movie theater and a new hospital which was completed in 2012.
