Crowley is located in Tarrant County and has a population of 7,467 and is rapidly growing each and every year. Pioneers began to settle near Deer Creek in 1848 and this settlement began moving around about a mile to the west which is now known as Crowley.
In 1885 the first depot was constructed, and this community of Crowley was named after S.H. Crowley who became the master for the railroad that was in the town. In 1951, there was an election that changed this town to a city in 1972
