Lowry Crossing is a small 2.8 square mile city located within Collin County, Texas in the United States. The city had a population count of 1,229 during 2000, and has a great location in relation to several cities surrounding, which include McKinney, Princeton, and Lavon. The city has a total of 441 or so households, with 362 families held within – which contribute to the family environment that is so favored of the city.
There are several families with children in the area, with most of the population in Lowry Crossing made up of married couples, while there is even a mix of non-families found in the area, with a portion of the population made up of retired individuals.
The diversity of the residents is quite broad and includes groups from several backgrounds offering a great ethnic diversity to the city.
Living in Lowry Crossing definitely presents a great rural feel of a small suburb that has such great amenities surrounding it that there are many people that fall in love with the area, make it home, and tend to stick around for quite some time.
