San Antonio, TX has one of the country’s most unique blends of different counties, communities, and towns, with Guadalupe County, named after the river of course, serving as one of the oldest counties with the seat of the county being Sequin.
Guadalupe County features many highlights: the Texas Wildlife Refuges, National Parks, Preserves, Seashores and Wild/Scenic Rivers in Texas, Texas National Forests, as well as, many recreational activities, golf courses, campgrounds, libraries. There are many hospitals within the county and school districts that offer both public and private schooling.
The population of the county is nearly 90,000 with several cultural influences, with a strong pride and strongly preserving the counties roots. There are several small cities and towns within Guadalupe County including McQueeney, Geronimo, and many others. The county offers several architectural structures, with many farms and several different manufacturing plants, as well as small single family homes found in most of the county. With many buildings that were constructed in the mid 1800s the area offers a very classic view of the county.
