Even in todays real estate market it is good to know that there are still several builders plugging away. I cover south Fort Worth for Nu Home Source Realty and want to use this blog to provide information on which company's are building in this area , at what price range, provide info on the amenities as well.
Dr Horton New Homes For Sale
D.R. Horton has several communities with price points from the low $100's up to the $ 200's. D.R. Horton is known as "America's Builder" and is based here in Fort Worth. The more upscale communities boast full amenities i.e. clubhouse, jogging trails, swimming pools etc. while less expensive communities provide beautiful properties without the expense of maintaining amenity centers.
Fox & Jacobs & Antares New Homes For Sale
Fox and Jacob is building a large community in Burleson with home prices in the upper $ 100's to the upper $ 200's. Another builder in the area building affordable homes is Antares. Antares promotes ENERGY EFFICIENCY in their homes and even backs it with a guarantee, First Texas Homes and Meritage are in the Summer Creek and Stone Meadow. Both areas are beautiful and provide great amenities to homeowners. There is also a lot of custom home building in the area as well, especially Burleson with homes in the millions going up left and right.
BUILDER FINANCE NEW HOMES
Custom builders I work with provide just the right floor plan with beautiful lots and even acreage for livestock. Two builders even provide long term financing for those who qualify.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST
Overall south Fort Worth is a great place to live with Hulen Mall nearby, lots of restaurants, TEA rated North Crowley ISD, Trinity Valley and Country Day both nationally recognized private schools. The fast growing Burleson area has multiple restaurants and shopping centers . I grew up in Burleson and although it is not the same town I grew up in it is still a nice place to live.

You get so much for your money in Ft.Worth versus where I sell in Jupiter, FL...I saw a great house featured in Ft. Worth on The Today Show this morning when they were talking about bargains nationwide. I went to TCU and miss old Ft. Worth, but I am sure it has changed a ton since I left in 1990 :).
