Gas Company's North Texas Addition

DALLAS (Dallas Business Journal) – Crosstex Energy LP has made plans to build an $80 million natural gas processing facility in the Barnett Shale region.

The new Bear Creek plant will have a gas processing capacity of 200 million cubic feet per day, and will be located near the company’s midstream assets in Hood County.

The plant will be completed by third quarter 2009.

Crosstex currently operates three gas processing plants in the Barnett Shale region.
