More than $119 million is available through the USDA's Guaranteed Rural Housing Loan Program to help rural Texans become homeowners. Assistance is available to low- and moderate-income applicants living in non-urban communities of 10,000 people or fewer. The maximum loan is determined by the applicant's income and repayment ability. More information is available at the USDA Web site.
