Haslet Texas small town, big heart

Welcome to Haslet Texas, population is about 1,350, it is located about 16 miles northwest of Fort Worth off farm road 156. Haslet was settled in the 1880s and has, for the most part, remained small. The town itself only takes up about 7.5 miles.

If you are seeking out a small town atmosphere with friendly people but also want to be close enough to the big city so you can enjoy all their amenities, you don't want to miss checking out this great little town.

Along with the small town atmosphere, the things that attract people to this area is the good quality of life and a safe place to raise their children.

As a Realtor, I talk to a lot of people and one of the most important things asked when looking for a new home is the schools and this area has one of the best.

The community of Haslet is one of 13 other communities that is served by the renowned Northwest school district, this school district is one of the most sought after districts in all of north Texas, there are some 12,000 students attending now and it is predicted that this number will double in the next 5 years, any given day you can see them adding a new school to the district, which is making Northwest one of the fastest growing districts in all of Texas. 

As for Texas there is no question that it is the place people want to live. You hear on the news almost every day how Texas unemployment is below the national average and our housing market is top on the list of most affordable places to buy.

People that are buying now will reap the benifites and the ones still on the fence will regret the wait when the interest rate goes back up and they are now unable to buy at those great prices, and in some cases unable to buy at all.
